Hi, I am Yash Bhusare. Currently, I am pursuing four-year program (2016-2020) of Engineering Physics at IIT Madras. I have seen many students in a dilemma, which is better, new IITs or old NITs. Here in this blog, I would like to share some information with you so that you can take good and inform decisions. let's see first which ones are old IITs (In no particular order Madras, Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee). I will only consider NIT Trichy and Warangal as old NITs for this blog. And two types of new IITs, ones which are established after 2008 (Let's call them type A ( Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Indore, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Ropar, and Mandi, Varanasi,)) and ones which are established after 2015 (type B).
